French Toast

Makes 4 servings


  • 5 lg eggs (beaten)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Butter (or margarine)
  • 8 slices thick bread


In a deep bowl, whisk eggs, milk, molasses and salt. Dip bread slices in egg mixture (ensure both sides are well-coated). In a skillet, med heat, melt butter until hot. Cook bread slices until golden brown on each side. Serve with fruit and loganberry sauce.
