Fried Cod Tongues
- 2 lbs cod tongues
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp garlic
- Salt & pepper
- 4 tbsp pork fat (or vegetable oil)
Rinse cod tongues under cold water and pat dry. In a container (or plastic bag) add flour, garlic and season to taste. Add cod tongues and shake well until evenly coated. In a skillet, med-high heat, fry cod tongues on both sides in pork fat until golden brown. Serve with a white sauce and your favourite side dish.
