Traditional Newfoundland Outport Breakfast
Makes 1 serving
- 3 slices salt pork (3” L x ¼“ thick)
- 3 eggs
In a skillet, med heat, fry pork until all fat is extracted or rendered and remove. Cook eggs to your liking and season to taste. While cooking base eggs with pork fat. Serve eggs with fried pork and garnish with a little pork fat. Excellent with homemade fresh bread and a good cup of steeped tea.
